WHAT IS IT?

The Method is a simplified methodology that makes it easy to assess the whole life embodied carbon of building projects.

IS IT ACCURATE?

Yes. The Method builds on PAS 2050, one of the most widely used carbon accounting standards. PAS 2050 complies with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.

HOW TO USE IT?

The Method can be used as a standalone document or together with PAS 2050 (free download at bsigroup.com).

WHO IS IT FOR?

The approach adopted in the Method makes it accessible to virtually anybody working on a construction project (architects, designers, etc.) with or without carbon accounting background.
